In 1994 I was given a large Kodak projector which had once belonged to the punk rockers The Buzzcocks.
I started making images that I would project wherever I could: against buildings, above rock bands,
across fields. I soon started transferring these images to paper in order to permanently capture them.
These images began as traditional photography, but I increasingly experimented by scratching them,
tearing, burning and pouring on any solution I could get my hands on.

The 16 pieces in ‘Supra Endura’ were made during 2004 and 2005.
All are one-off prints (except ‘Alcazar del Rey Don Pedro’ which is a multiple print of 14).

Most of the work is of an abstract nature. The essence of my work is about capturing a moment in time.
The substances are fixed on glass, then they are exposed onto paper and captured.
Other pieces contain actual images taken with various cameras that feature moments from that period.
The preliminary prints were made on Kodak Supra Endura paper. They will endure as a vivid record
of that time.
